Protein Confetti Waffles



Why not put a healthy spin on the classic confetti cake flavor? These waffles are packed with protein, low in sugar, and don’t contain any artificial colors or flavors! What’s not to like about this breakfast? 😋


Ingredients:

Waffle batter:

½ cup (60g) @annieshomegrown organic confetti pancake/waffle mix

⅓ cup water (or milk of choice)

Vanilla Protein Glaze:

40g vanilla protein of choice (I used @gardenoflife vanilla plant-based protein)

~55g water (or milk of choice)

Topping:

25g @so_delicious CocoWhip (optional)

Pure maple syrup or honey


Instructions:

1. Preheat waffle maker

2. Mix all batter ingredients in a measuring cup or bowl (stop mixing once combined, do not over-mix)

3. Pour batter and allow the waffle to cook through on each side

4. Mix water and vanilla protein thoroughly to create the protein drizzle. Alternate layers of waffle and vanilla protein drizzle

5. Add CocoWhip/topping(s) of choice and enjoy!
