Homemade Honey Granola



A perfect topping for just about anything, or even enjoyed just by itself, this honey granola is nutrient dense and absolutely delicious šŸ˜‹ Donā€™t blame me if you get yourself hooked on this stuff šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø


Ingredients:

2 Ā½ cups (225g) organic rolled oats @onedegreeorganics

Ā½ cup (112g) slivered organic almonds (optional)

Ā¼ cup (84g) raw honey (can sub maple syrup)

Ā¼ cup (56g) organic coconut oil, melted (can sub avocado oil or grass-fed butter) @nutiva

2 tbsp (14g) ground flax seeds

2 tbsp (14g) ground chia seeds @nutiva

1 tbsp (12g) allulose, monk fruit, or stevia (optional)

1 tsp (4g) vanilla extract

Ā¾ tsp ground cinnamon

Ā½ tsp unrefined salt


Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 300F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat

2. Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir until well combined

3. Dump the mixture onto your prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer. Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown and beginning to crisp

4. Remove the granola from the oven and let it cool completely (in the fridge or at room temperature). Once completely cooled, break into clusters and store in an airtight container for up to a month! Enjoy!
