Ah yes, the classic pepperoni pizza šŸ¤¤ So simple and so delicious. This version is made with whole wheat dough and organic toppings so that you can have a high-quality pizza ready in just a few minutes! At 417 calories for half the pizza, how can you go wrong! šŸ’ā€ā™‚ļø

Ingredients:

220g whole wheat pizza dough

75g @simpletruth4u organic pizza sauce

3oz @organicvalley organic mozzarella cheese

40g roasted red pepper

15 slices (30g) @organicvalley uncured pepperoni

Oregano and basil to garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. If you donā€™t already have roasted red pepper, preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add one red pepper (sliced) into the pan. You could instead roast the pepper in the oven at 450F, just keep in mind that it will take 20 minutes or so. For best results, toss the sliced pepper in some oil and unrefined salt before roasting

2. Preheat your oven to 450F

3. Roll out pizza dough to desired size and thickness and place on a pizza stone or baking sheet

4. Cook pizza dough (with no toppings) in the preheated oven for 7-8 minutes, then remove it from the oven

5. Add the pizza sauce across the pizza dough. Then add the pepperoni, red pepper, and mozzarella

6. Bake the pizza in the oven for another 8-10 minutes

7. Garnish with oregano/basil, or garnish of choice (optional)

8. Enjoy!
