Crispy Air-Fryer Buffalo Wings (Gluten-Free)

Ah yes, the CLASSIC buffalo wing. A fan favorite (for good reason), these are downright addicting 😋 To make a better-for-you version, it really boils down to the quality of the chicken, frying technique, and sauce ingredients. This recipe uses no frying oil, pasture-raised chicken, and 100% grass-fed butter to give you the BEST wing with your health in mind. You’ll love these!

Ingredients:

Wings:

1lb pasture-raised chicken wings

1 ½ tbsp organic potato starch

1 tsp unrefined salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

Buffalo sauce:

25g grass-fed butter

35g hot sauce of choice

Âź tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

1. Coat your wings in the salt, garlic, and paprika. Toss until evenly coated

Add your potato scratch and toss again until coated on all sides

2. Add the wings to the fridge and allow the wings to dry out for at least 2 hours up to overnight. This is important for developing a crispy skin

3. Once ready to cook, preheat your air fryer to 370F

4. Cook the wings for about 12 minutes on each side, then remove from the air fryer

5. While the wings cool off, prepare your buffalo sauce by heating the sauce ingredients in a small bowl or saucepan. Mix until thoroughly combined, then toss the wings in the sauce. Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
