Double Chocolate Protein Waffles (Gluten-Free)



It’s always nice to get some protein in the morning to fuel your day, but with these fellas, you don’t have to go overboard on the sugar (and you can still enjoy a sweet treat)! Check these out for a balanced and tasty way to kick off your day! 😎


Ingredients:


Waffles:

2oz @so_delicious unsweetened coconut milk (can sub milk of choice or water)

30g @terrasoul coconut flour

30g @lvlsusa grass-fed chocolate whey (can use any chocolate protein powder)

15g @terrasoul raw cacao powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

12g @lakanto monk fruit or stevia (can sub cane or coconut sugar)

½ tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp @redmondrealsalt unrefined salt


Toppings:

18g @so_delicious cocowhip (can sub whipped cream)

5g organic cacao nibs

Drizzle of chocolate syrup


Instructions:

1. Preheat your waffle iron

2. Combine all waffle ingredients in a large measuring cup or mixing bowl

3. Cook all of the waffle batter and stack the waffles as they finish cooking

4. Top with CocoWhip, chocolate syrup, and any other toppings you like! Enjoy!
