Decided to try something new instead of the traditional white or brown rice, so I found some Madagascar pink rice on @thrivemarket and it turned out awesome! Not only is this rice organic, but it is packed full of minerals and grown using 50% less water and 90% less seed than conventionally grown rice! Pair that with some grass-fed beef, pasture-raised sour cream, diced avocado, and some grain-free tortillas and you got yourself a heck of a meal đ€Ș
Ingredients:
1/2 cup @lotusfoods organic Madagascar pink rice (or any organic rice you like)
1/3 lb @forceofnaturemeats grass-fed ancestral blend ground beef
2-3 tbsp @good_culture cultured, pasture-raised sour cream
2 @sietefoods grain-free hard taco shells
Diced Avocado (I fried mine up in a nonstick pan)
Hot sauce
Instructions:
1. Add your rice to a rice cooker or pot on the stove and cook according to package instructions. Season as desired
2. While the rice cooks, preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add your beef and season to taste. Cook until browned, then remove from the pan
3. Add the beef and rice to your taco shells, then add the remaining ingredients and any other toppings you like! Enjoy!
