Grass-Fed Beef Chili




Cozy, hearty, and delicious, this easy-to-make beef chili makes a delicious meal 😋 This recipe is super easy to meal prep and is packed with nutrients from grass-fed beef, organic tomatoes, and organic beans. Give this one a try this fall!


Ingredients:

1 lb @verdefarms grass-fed ground beef

½ yellow onion, diced

1 bell pepper, diced (can sub 4oz can diced green chiles)

1 jalapeno, diced (optional)

1 (15oz) can organic beans, drained and rinsed (pinto or kidney)

1 (14.5oz) can @muirglen organic, fire-roasted diced tomato (do not drain)

1 (14.5oz) can @muirglen organic, fire-roasted crushed tomato (do not drain)

ž cup (180ml) beef broth, vegetable broth, or water

1 tbsp (12g) coconut, date, or maple sugar (can sub maple syrup)

1 tbsp chili powder

1 Âź tsp garlic powder and cumin

1 tsp unrefined salt, oregano, and paprika

½ tsp black pepper and ground cinnamon


Toppings:

Organic sour cream

Organic cheddar cheese

Diced red onion, green onion, or cilantro, to garnish

Fresh lime wedges


Instructions:

1. Set your instant pot on sautĂŠ and allow to preheat

2. Once hot, add the ground meat, salt, and pepper. Cook beef until mostly browned

3. Add in the onion, bell pepper/diced green chiles, jalapeno (if using), and remaining spices. SautĂŠ for an additional 2-3 minutes

4. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well to combine

5. Close the lid/pressure valve and set to pressure cook on high for 10 minutes. Once finished, allow the pressure to naturally release for 20-30 minutes

Remove the lid, add to a bowl, add toppings, and serve! Store in the fridge for up to 5 days!
