BBQ Meatballs (Grass-Fed)

Having never had BBQ meatballs, I was a little skeptical the first time I tried some šŸ˜… Iā€™m usually a Swedish meatball kinda guy, but Iā€™ve been converted to a big BBQ meatball fan šŸ™Œ Give these a shot, you wonā€™t be disappointed!!

Ingredients:

The meatballs:

1 1/2 lbs @whiteoakpastures grass-fed ground beef

1/2 cup milk of choice (I used @maplehillcreamery grass-fed milk)

1 cup @onedegreeorganics organic oats

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Ā¼ sweet onion, chopped

Ā½ tsp garlic powder, black pepper, and chili powder

The sauce:

1 cup @simpletruth4u organic ketchup

2 tsp yellow mustard

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/8 cup @simpletruth4u organic coconut sugar (can sub brown sugar)

1 tbsp monk fruit, stevia, or more sugar (optional, for additional sweetness)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F

2. Mix meatball ingredients in a mixing bowl until thoroughly combined. Roll the mixture into balls and place the balls on a baking sheet

3. Bake the balls for 15 minutes (without sauce)

4. While the meatballs are baking, mix the sauce ingredients in a mixing bowl

5. Remove the meatballs from the oven and coat them in the sauce

6. Return the sauced meatballs to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until cooked to at least 165F

7. Remove from the oven and serve!
